Percussionist and Singer, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in DAMS with a thesis in Ethnomusicology: “Tambourine techniques in Salento and comparisons with Campania and Calabria”, with a grade of 110 cum laude.

During his studies, he had the opportunity to meet Massimo Carrano (one of the most renowned multi-percussionists in Italy and beyond) and Fabrizio Aiello (percussionist for jazz musician Stefano Di Battista).
Mainly self-taught, his approach to rhythm and percussion is instinctive and imitative.

Founder of the group Progetto Migala with which he experiments with the meeting between the musical traditions of southern Italy and world music. With the first album - "World 'n' Folk Music - he wins the "Battle Of The Band" contest of the World Music Network in the United Kingdom. Rockit Tutta Roba Italiana defined the album: "A blend of genres that tries to break down racial barriers and differences of language and dialect and does so with instruments [...], all masterfully animated by the band. It is enthusiastic, engaging music that pervades the veins, the blood boils and you dance. It's as if the sounds of VINICIO CAPOSSELA and MUNICIPALE BALCANICA were having coffee with the Taranta Power movement of Eugenio Bennato."

His concert activity in the field of musical traditions of Central-Southern Italy and the World & Folk Music genre has led him to play and collaborate with: Progetto Migala, Tarantella Underground, Senzaterra, Progetto Satyria, Fratelli Semeraro, Domenico Celiberti, Annamaria Bagorda, Massimiliano Felice, Rino Inchingolo (former member of Officina Zoè), Marcello Piccioni, Nando Citarella and Tamburi del Vesuvio, Compangia del Balletto Popolare directed by Roberta Parravano, Beppe Capozza, Reza Mohsenipour, Hamid Mohsenipour, Solmaz Peymaei, Babak Taghikhani, Gabriele Panico and Popoli Orchestra (which included Alla Bua, Redi Hasa - Notte Della Taranta cello, Antonio Marra - Notte Della Taranta drummer, etc...), Tomma Tommë (with Massimiliano Morabito), Davide Conte (Scantu De Core), Gabriele Caporuscio, Marco Madana Rufo, Maria Serena De Masi, Gianluca Zammarelli, Walter Silvestrelli, Fabio Guandalini, Lavinia Mancusi, Luigi Ferracci, Sherif Fares, Evandro Dos Reis, Coletivo Do Bigode, Andrea Marchesino, Mephitis Ensemble, Marta Dell'Anno, Sara Marini, Paola Bivona, Pietro Nicosia, Mario Pio Mancini, Maurizio Catania, Indaco, Unnaddarè, 
etc...

Since summer 2015 he has collaborated with the band Newpoli from Boston and with musicians from Berklee College who perform - in the States - the traditional musical repertoire of Central - Southern Italy.

Member of the Marching Band Akuna Matata from 2015 to 2017 with which he played in Summer 2016 at Rock In Roma opening the Orchestraccia concert and at the STAMP Festival Show in Hamburg.

Since 2017 he has been part of the musical group and samba bateria Mistura Maneira directed by Dario Mattia. With this group he participated in Mannarino's concert at Rock in Roma in July 2017.

On August 15, 2017 - at the Apulian Resort Borgo Egnazia - he played at the birthday of Pop Star Madonna.

In the jazz field, he collaborates with pianist Paolo Pavan and with guitarist Massimo Bognetti.

In the singer-songwriter Rock field, he collaborates with singer Raffaella Daino, leader of the group Pivirama.

In 2019, with the group Mephitis Ensemble records "Piccola Raccolta di Brani Mortali" dedicated to the Valle d'Ansanto in Irpinia. In this same valley, the group - in the summer of 2019 - performed the music in theatrical form under the direction of Igor Geat and the actor Claudio Spadaro. In 2020, with Mephitis Ensemble and the collaboration of Antonello Iannotta, they recorded "Tarantella".

Attended the Musical Training course for children 0-5 years old at the MusicaNova Association.
Attended the 3-day VMC Drum Circle Facilitator Training with Harshil Filippo Chiostri.

He attended the Sound Technician Training Course at Forma-Tec with the teachers from the Absonant Training Center.

He collaborates with schools and associations for music education for children from 3 to 11 years old and for students in middle and high schools.


He teaches percussion, cajon, tambourine, and tammorra to adults in Rome at associations, schools, etc...

Currently engaged in the group Progetto Migala, Zafarán, Paola Bivona, Gimbo Musica, Indaco, Unnaddarè, Zenìa and musical projects with world music, folk and ethno jazz sounds.
